The city is known for its extensive greenery and a wide range of handicrafts from local and national craftsmen.
Old Delhi features historic monuments including Red Fort (photo stop), Jama Masjid, Chandni Chowk – a vibrant market, and Delhi Gate.
New Delhi showcases modern architecture by Lutyens and Baker, with visits to Rashtrapati Bhawan (photo stop), India Gate, Humayun’s Tomb, Qutub Minar, and Lotus Bahai Temple.
Enjoy free time for shopping and leisure at Dilli Haat. Overnight stay in Delhi.
After breakfast, depart for Agra and begin your Agra Sightseeing Tour.
Visit the iconic Taj Mahal — a world wonder built in 1630 by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife. This white marble masterpiece is the finest example of Mughal architecture, blending Turkish, Islamic, and Persian styles.
Explore the Marble Crafts Emporium, where you’ll witness exquisite marble inlay works and find miniature Taj Mahal souvenirs to take home.
Proceed to Agra Fort — a UNESCO World Heritage Site along the Yamuna River. This 2.5 km-long red sandstone fort was built by Emperor Akbar and later used by Shah Jahan, who was imprisoned here by his son Aurangzeb, with a view of the Taj Mahal.
Inside Agra Fort, marvel at stunning Mughal structures like Sheesh Mahal, Khas Mahal, Meena Bazar, and the mosques – Nagina Masjid and Meena Masjid.
Explore Agra’s vibrant culture with visits to local spice markets, carpet stores, and clothing shops. End the day with a peaceful sleep, dreaming of the Taj Mahal. Overnight stay in Agra.
After breakfast, drive to Jaipur en route visiting Fatehpur Sikri — an eerily abandoned Mughal capital built by Emperor Akbar between 1570 and 1586.
Akbar built this city to celebrate the birth of his son, Emperor Jahangir. Though illiterate, Akbar had a passion for the arts and architecture, and Fatehpur Sikri stands as one of his masterworks.
Unfortunately, the city was abandoned after a decade due to lack of accessible water.
Afternoon: Arrive in Jaipur and check in to the hotel. Evening: Leisure time to relax and explore nearby surroundings.
Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan, is famously known as the “Pink City.” As you enter the old city walls, the pink-hued buildings reveal the charm behind the nickname.
Proceed for Jaipur city sightseeing. Overnight stay in Jaipur.
After breakfast, start with an exhilarating excursion to Amber Fort, perched on top of a hill. Enjoy a royal elephant ride (subject to availability) up the hill like the Maharajas and visit Jagmandir, the Hall of Victory.
Amber Fort was constructed in the 1590s by Maharaja Man Singh, commander of Akbar’s army. It is a well-preserved structure built on four levels, surrounded by ruins, and featured in the film “Kama Sutra: A Tale of Love.”
Afternoon: Visit the iconic Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds), built for royal ladies to discreetly view processions in the street below.
Continue to City Palace and the impressive Jantar Mantar, an astronomical observatory built by Maharaja Jai Singh II, the warrior-astronomer after whom the city is named.
Jaipur is a hub of handicrafts like durries (woven rugs), printed cloth, semi-precious stones, carpets, and leatherware — a great chance to shop or browse the local outlets.
Evening is free for your own activities. Overnight stay in Jaipur.
After Breakfast checkout from the hotel & transfer to New Delhi Airport.
